International Systems Management Corporation (ISM Corp) is seeking qualified candidates to support the US Navy’s Program Executive Office for Integrated Warfare Systems (PEO IWS). This position will be supporting the Integrated Combat Systems Directorate on Aegis Weapon System (AWS) and Ship Self Defense System (SSDS) computer program development within PEO IWS 1.0. Candidates should be flexible and able to succeed in a dynamic and ever-changing environment, requiring the ability to multitask and provide initiative.
Position requires familiarity with systems engineering and software development principles for USN combat systems from concept to lifecycle support, as well as the ability to understand the associated hardware configurations. Candidates will be responsible for technical analysis of AWS and SSDS development and integration efforts; therefore, working knowledge of Command and Control, Sensor, and Weapons Systems, as well as interface designs, is required. Candidate will possess the ability to monitor computer program development metrics, analyze trouble reports and proposed computer program changes, develop risk mitigation plans, lead working group meetings and milestone technical reviews, as well as provide technical insight to leadership. Experience with financial planning, the DoD budget process, and Earned Value Metric System (EVMS) is strongly desired.
Qualified candidates will possess at a minimum: 5 years USN Combat System Experience, a BS degree, and the ability to obtain a DOD security clearance. Extensive experience with Microsoft Office Suite is also required. While the majority of work will be performed in the Washington DC area, CONUS travel requirements will be up to 25%.
